ED-E Not Following Me

ED-E Not Following Me

So, this is an odd one that's never happened before. When I recruit ED-E, he follows me around just great, but the moment I enter combat, it's like his AI deactivates. No funny battle music, no shooting, nothing. He just floats there, looking at me. I've tried disabling and enabling him, but all that does is get him to follow me until I go into combat again. Any thoughts?

Loading Order, any problems/errors during TTW install?, Installed TTW using unmodded fallout games?

I can certainly give you information.


Both games were unmodded, and fresh downloads from Steam. Didn't get any errors from the install, and as for the load order: 



Honestly no clue what could be causing it, save for maybe the robot fix, but that doesn't really make sense to me. Another thing that I thought of was that I had to fiddle around in the console to get Sydney out of my party a while ago, and briefly thought it might be connected.

Are you taking a follower from one wasteland to the other? For example I remember when using Requiem, Jericho did not like New Vegas, he had a lot of difficulty moving about but he was ok in his own back yard so to speak. Similarly taking a New Vegas follower into FO3 give the same result. Maybe something to do with navmesh who knows.


Personally though, it wasn't much of a problem for me as I rarely use followers.
