no you only need it installed
no you only need it installed for the initial install of TTW after that you can clean it out.

if you install TTW into a
if you install TTW into a temp folder and keep that as a backup then you can use that to update to and not have to go through the entire install process again. the installer will just bypass any files that don't need updating. This works the same if you update to your FNV game so again after initial install there is no need to keep FO3 if you need the room.
