Problem with the Pipboy when starting New Vegas

I went to New Vegas after completing some missions in Fallout 3 for the first time and ran into a problem. It appears that where the part of the arm of where the original pipboy is gone. I have the PipBoy 2500 installed right now and when I left Doc Mitchel's house the PipBoy 2500 was set permanently on my hand and, as mentioned before, the part of the arm where the original PipBoy was has disappeared when I wore my Power Armor.

I have the latest version of the PipBoy 2500 installed as well. I tried uninstalling the PipBoy 2500 mod before leaving but when I did and exited out without the 2500, it was showing nothing on my arm when I brought it up and even tried doing the console command "player.equipitem 15038".

2500 has an uninstall

2500 has an uninstall function built into it. Try it and see if it fixes it, then reinstall.

I disabled properly and how I was supposed to before leaving the Doc's house and when I went out I had no pipboy.

Me and Dawe had a chat conversation with the OP, after trying everything we could think of we found out that the problem was probably that the OP didn't arrive in NV the first time using the train but instead used the console command "coc goodsprings".


Our advice was to start a new game angel.

Mmmmm have you tried starting the new game, go straight to the train station, catch the train, do the Doc Mitchell part, get out of Doc Mitchell's house and see if the problem still exists? You can use the console command: " tgm " without the " to activate the god mode so you take less till you reach the train station.

Yeah I started a new game. Turns out I found out I had MMUE installed in this save so my whole game was corrupt when I uninstalled it awhile back.


Thanks for the help and it now works.

MMUE is not TTW friendly at all.


and so far, i haven't heard of anyone making any kind of compatibility patch.
