Weird Issue

Hey all, I have a weird problem with Chinese assault rifles, they texture is very very odd, however the problem seems to only happen with me and not the npcs. Here are some screenshots and my load order;

Sorry about the messy load order


Also for some reason any Sawn off shotguns I find in CW do not use any ammo, the ammo counter looks like --

looks like you got some mixed up meshes/textures. is that a FO3 CAR or is it from PN? the PN one can be modded. did you try toggling archive invalidation off, then back on?


the sawed-off thing: did you have any 12ga ammo in your inventory? if so, check ii in FNVEdit and see if the ammo list is being overwritten by one of your mods.

About the CAR I will have to get back to you about that as I sold it a while ago, I just found it on some NPCs in the CW. 


With the shotgun yes I had 12ga ammo, however I have not used FNVEdit before so I will have a look but I can promise anything.


Was there anything in my load order that shouldn't be there? something not compatible with TTW?


because so far with this load order I can get easily 2-3+ hours of gameplay with no crashes, However whenever I wait/sleep for to long (4+ hours) I crash when I stop waiting so I have to wait in short amounts of time, does this have something to do with my timescale being 1:1 (realtime)


Oh yea and the supermutants seem to be resistant to small arms fire seems only explosives, energy and even melee can do some good damage on them, I assume this is something to do with converting the defense ratings to the NV system, Its not to bad though because it makes sense they would be kinda resistant to small arms.

about your load order, nothing immediately jumps out at me. some helpful tips:


[list][*]use the "Export Load Order" function in FOMM to generate a much easier to read txt file when posting your load order


[*]get the merged version of More Perks/Traits from the [url=http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44204//?]NVEC[/url] dl page


[*]try the WMXUE version of [url=http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39651]WMX[/url].[/list]


using merged versions of mods helps reduce your load order, usaually resulting in better stability

setting the timescale to 1:1 is probably the culprit. try seeting timescale to 1:5 or 1:10 and see what happens.


if you are doing hardcore, it's best to keep the default 1:30 timescale. otherwise, you can starve to death when you sleep. there are some mods out there that have work-arounds for this.

Cheers for the helpful reply, I will have a look at getting the other versions of WMX and perks.


About my load order, I used the NMM to export and it was neat but when I posted it on the forum it jumbled itself up.


I will also have a look about using FNVEdit with that link, cheers
