Installer Completes Immediately, Does Not Install

I'm trying to install 2.4 for the first time, and even after following the instructions I can't get TTW to install correctly. The installer auto-detects my two Fallouts, I make a new folder to install TTW to, and the installer completes immediately but nothing is installed. This is as far as it gets

I see Main Files and Optional Files folders but there's not much in them and no .fomods. NMM cannot seem to create mods from folders, only from archives so I don't know what to do with these folders. It looks like the install is failing, because I recall it taking a looong time to complete and as you can see by the time stamps, it is completing instantly and never goes any further. I have

 

Windows 7 64bit

i5

16GB RAM

Fallout 3 GOTY from Steam

 

Any idea what's going on? Thanks

​The installer requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable SP1 (if your operating system is x64 (64-bit), make sure you install both the x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) versions).

 

If you don't already have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (download for x86 and x64) on your computer, you will need to install that as well.

 

The installer requires the latest version of .NET Framework (4.5 for Windows 7 and up, 4.0 for Windows XP)

Ahh you're right, I was missing C++.

 

However, I had some issues while installing the .fomod with NMM. The first time during installation NMM encountered an error and crashed. The second time it encountered an error and cancelled the install. The third time TTW seems to have installed correctly. Should I be worried?
