Downloader problems

I'm having issues with the launcher the second i start install the installer "stops responding" i don't know if its the fact that my fallout games file are not clean. if it is how do i get clean copies? steam reinstalls everything when i install the game along with mods and such. any advice?

It will say "Not Responding" on the program. It's moving a lot of data, so it will take a while. but it IS working. It'll take around 45+ minutes. Also, you'll have blank command prompts show up ever now and then. All normal. I don't think anyone here has every ran the installer without it saying "Not Responding"

Post here if you have any other problems with it. Even though the installer is running, there have been a few people having issues with it. This is an awesome community to get help from.

after the download I'm unable to find the optional files in the load list. did i do something wrong? or do i have to download them separately?

nvm i didn't download it to my new vegas folder and now i cant find the file -_-

when you use the installer it makes a folder called TTW in the steamsapp folder.

I've almost got everything done i was quite pleased to be greeted with the fallout 3 intro however i keep getting crashes at the 9 months later mark any ideas on what the problem is? i think it could be a memory crash but im open to other suggestions.

Actually don't use any mod until you get out of the vault 101 it will avoid any problems you could find during Vault 101 part of the game, that part hates mods.
