[collapsed title=Spoiler]

  • OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (Also have XP on a dual-boot)

  • CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE @ 3.4GHz

  • GPU - Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 Vapor-X

  • RAM - 2x4GB DDR3 Crucial Tactical Ballistix 1333MHz OC'd @ 1600MHz

  • Mobo - ASRock M3N78D AM3

  • Fallout 3 Version - Steam GOTY

  • Fallout New Vegas Version - Steam Ultimate Edition

Install procedure:

[collapsed title=Install procedure]

Launch TTW 2.4a Installer. Add locations of Fallout NV install dir., Fallout 3 install dir. and TTW install dir. Everything patches correctly, fomods are successfully built.

The Main fomod causes FOMM (vanilla/LAA), NMM and Mod Organizer to throw an error, so I copied the .bsa and .esm files from the TTW directory to the New Vegas directory.

I made a .7z file from the fomod, Music, sound and Video folders, which I then installed via FOMM. This completes without a hitch.

The plugins fomod works A-OK.

Whenever I happen upon the super mutant duo across from Farregut West Station, there's a high chance of my game crashing; not 100%, as there have been times that it hasn't.

However, if I go to the super mutant encampment that is next to the talon mercenary and the accompanying robot, within seconds of it coming into view...I get a crash. Not a CTD mind you; the screen goes black and I get the usual crash message.

I initially noticed this after playing for a while with a few mods, so I went ahead and did a fresh install (new saves, new ini files, etc.) to see if this persists without mods. It does.

Did the same again but without the TTW_* optional plugins. The issue still occurs. It also happens regardless of whether or not I have an ENB installed (renamed the "d3d9.dll" to "d3d9", practically uninstalling the ENB). NVSR doesn't make a difference either.

I've yet to check if super mutants in other parts of DC cause this crash for me. I'll go check that out once I have a bite to eat.

Thanks in advance.

Your load order seems wrong

Your load order seems wrong in a lot of places. Try making it be the same as in the TTW Manual install instructions in the alpha download page.

Now that's bizzare. My plugins.txt file is different to the load order I see in FOMM; I was too hasty and forgot to look at the contents of plugins.txt before pasting it.

Wonder how THAT happened O_o

Edit: Changed plugins.txt to correspond with the suggested load order on the download page; my load order in FOMM was already in the correct order.

Problem still persists.

2nd Edit: Oh jeez. I feel rather idiotic. During my numerous reinstalls, It appears that I forgot to delete the latest version of NVSR. Removing it consequently stopped the crashes.
