Readable as in it gives the benefits of a skill book.

And I'm all for it as long as it could be removed from the inventory. The game is already filled with a bunch of quest items that can't be removed without console. But yeah, I'd love to see that sort of thing implements where you can get the points, but then still keep it as yours.

Maybe Wasteland Survival Guide: First Edition

Oh man are you reading my mind? I suggested that the Moira's WSG would be called like that and would give the player a survival skill bonus if it was in the inventory or something special like that quite a while ago hahaha.

I do like the idea of reading it and then getting the item for collectors laugh I am planning on having something like that for my book mod, reading the skill books and then get a used skill book that we would be able to give to scribe Yearling or just keep for collection.

Non-disappearing skill books

Post by WizardOfAtlantis » Sun May 19, 2013 11:17 pm

Non-disappearing skill books would be phenomenal, especially once they look all cooled-up. :)

I also think that the book, being so special, should have a much heftier Survival bonus, but maybe that's just me. To relate its bonus to every other skill book somewhat demeans it, in my opinion.

Well completing the quest

Well completing the quest gives you a survival bonus, magnitude varies depending on how many bonus objectives you do. So the book on top is just gravy.
