Have a monitoring program running while you're installing. If its overheating revert or back off the overclock. Technically, a good overclock should never overheat or crash, but there is so few multi-threaded aps that I have mine a little high.

Did you get it fella? I hope so, because even though you said you needed help you didn't seem like you wanted any when turning ideas away like this. If you're still having problems at least try Thermador's Checkdisk Idea. Will save you alot of grief later if that's the issue and you have enough warning to get all your data off it.
As for my advice: Fresh, non-modded installs of both games and all dlcs fully updated and run the patch while standing on a watermelon.

I DID try it, and I DO want help. Either try to help or don't comment, geez. Also, is standing on a watermelon required? because I didn't and it didn't work.

If you are using a pirated
If you are using a pirated game, don't. That error is sometimes caused by a pirated game.

"My computer crashes and
"My computer crashes and shuts down on installation, on the 3rd or 4th screen of the installer. Any help?"
Lets clarify this a little bit.
1. Is the operating system crashing? (the computer remains on but doesn't respond to your keyboard or mouse)
2. Does the computer shut itself off? (monitor goes blank and any case lights go out)
3. The TTW installer stops working with or without an error message.
If it is #1 or #2 I think you have a computer problem. If its #3 then you'll have to one of the smart fellows on this board.

I believe he/she means the
I believe he/she means the number 2. It used to happen to me on my old laptop I used to have several years ago, my problem was the HDD having corrupt sectors, that's why I said it sounded like that. I also know of friends whose laptops would shut off without a warning but because of problems with drivers and others with corrupt windows files, that's why I suggested a software problem.
But it might be overclocking like Trm8r suggested, that would be a good reason for a computer to shut down just like that, I totally forgot about that suggestion since it never happened to me before.
Also please don't start flamming around, tjmidnight420 WAS trying to help, he just got frustrated with the answer, he had assumed that your post meant that you didn't try what the others had suggested and still wanted help, he said his advice about how to install TTW, sure that wasn't the nicest post he ever made, but there is no need to reply with rage in your vains and murder in your eyes
that will potentially only fuel more flaming, we all have our bad days and I forgive you both (celestial chorus ringing)
