Megaton missing chunks

Post by Cyberdemon531 » Tue Jan 29, 2013 10:09 pm

So, I just launched the game and was having a blast until I arrived at Megaton.

Video of the issue: http://youtu.be/zDfFKhlQBHY

Any way to fix this? I tried a reinstall of the mod and a replay of the game from the beginning and it is still happening. :/

Normally such things are a load order or incompatible mod issue. Take a look at the FAQ.

Post your load order so we can ensure that they are loaded properly. TTW is extremely picky.

Run the installer again (don't worry it runs fast after the initial install) and get me the output text (the box between the install and options button)

Ok then I'm at a loss. Your load order is good, your install is good, but nobody else is even getting this issue. Try using steam to verify New Vegas files (this should not hurt your TTW installation, but maybe run the installer again to make sure afterwards). What are your system specs?

my GPU: Radeon 6870

My CPU: Intel core i5 3.2ghz

SSD: ADATA SX900 256GB

Mobo: Some terrible one that came with my old computer

RAM: 8GB

That it? I ran the validater and the patcher and haven't tried the game yet, but I will edit the post if it works.

Alright, so now the game won't even launch...

I am just going to completely uninstall both fallout 3 and new vegas and try to install everything again tomorrow.

Yeah TTW is extremely picky about everything, I'm working on making it more stable, but its long slow work. Sorry you had to reinstall, but it should fix all of your problems. If it doesn't then I am TRULY at a loss!
