Trade with my followers and repair menu on NPC works fine. The game crashes when I do a trade with anyone from Megaton, Paradise Falls, etc...
Logged in over 70 hours so far, but this is the first case of the game CTD when attempting trade menu with merchants.
Update:
Started a new game and it fixed the CTD with merchant trading. No idea what caused the problem in the first place though.
