Missing Textures and Models

Post by Im_John » Fri Jan 25, 2013 2:13 am

After getting to the Point Lookout riverboat, and finding it horribly disfigured and having the wrong textures and shortly after resting on the cott ( Didn't even get to see the scenery...) the game crashed. Any fixes?

To me that looks like the textures were not installed correctly or that there is some mod that changes or replace textures that is causing it.

I am really not the most knowledgeable person in the forum but the only way to fix it if its was a problem while installing the textures would be reinstall TTW, not the best way since it takes quite a while and there is no guarantee that will fix it or not, but it does sound like the textures all over the game aren't working properly so I would guess they got a problem while installing. Also is your load order correct? TTW is really picky with the load order, even if there is just one DLC out of order any type of problems might happen, I would double and triple check your loading order.

Sorry I am not much help with technical stuff angel.

Yes a load order is always helpful when asking for help. Run the TTW installer again, it will verify files first, so it will only fix things it finds are broken (so no long wait this time around) after running the installer get me its output (the text box above the install button).

It's just strange, because only a certain clutter model was missing, that that was in the train stations too (Just seas or red errors...) And the only missing textures had been that on the Gambit and Nadine's mother's face.
