Hello all.
So for the last 4 days I have been trying to install the 2.2a version of TTW, I am officially at my wits end now. No matter what I do I can not get past this TaleofTwoWasteland - Main.bsa, everything else works 100% except building this bsa.
I fought with the BSAOpt and managed to get that working on my XP by using the BSAopt - beta 2 - risky version, I also made it skip everything but this one function from the option settings. I have even gone into Safe Mode and made sure nothing else is running while I try to use the installer. I uninstalled all the programs you say I need, then reinstalled them to make sure everything is updated. All games have all their DLC and are patched.
All games are legit Steam games, I reinstalled both twice now to make sure everything was working.
It goes for about 1 hour, then it tells me without any real error text:
TaleofTwoWasteland - Main.bsa failed to patch properly. Please report this bug.
Installing Tale of Two Wastelands...
TaleOfTwoWastelands - Main.bsa needs to be built...
Extracting Fallout - Misc.bsa...
Extracting Fallout - Meshes.bsa...
Extracting Fallout - Textures.bsa...
Cleaning up duplicate resources...
Building TaleOfTwoWastelands - Main.bsa...
Building complete, checking for patches...
The version I used before I had the option of doing one .bsa at a time, for the texture.bsa I had to go into safe mod and let it run for about 2 hours.
Also please no posts about how I should get rid of XP, I dont have any money to upgrade my computer right now.
So any ideas would be great lol.
the next update should be out soon, we are currently testing the new installer and trying to get everything working properly.
