Usually it happens when a mod is trying to load BEFORE one of its masters.

currently using 2.2a, load

currently using 2.2a, load order is only ttw plugins, and is copied right off the alpha page so i really doubt thats the issue.

fyi I ran the patcher again, just to make sure everything was ok, and it doesn't pick up any issues and tells me its all up to date, but still the error about a borked up workbench persists.

In your documents/my games

In your documents/my games/Tale of Two Wastelands folder there is an install log, go ahead and upload it just so I can verify that the installer is succeeding. Also, save the FNVEdit message log as a text file and upload it as well.

What version of FNVEdit are you using?

as requested heres the 2

Post by Bashis » Sun Apr 14, 2013 6:19 am

as requested heres the 2 files. and im using NVedit 3.0.21

one more bit of info, because it never hurts to know more when troubleshooting. i grabbed the original anchorage esm from my fallout 3 folder and replaced the patched one, and was able to load past it with no issues, but then the same exact error popped up for the pitt.

replaced the pitt esm as well with the original and it loaded all the way to finished with no fatal errors.

so in total anchorage.esm and the pitt.esm were corrupted in some way, and the fact that the originals from my fallout 3 directory worked fine when thrown into the nv directory, means theres no other possibility than the ttw installer being the source of the file corruption.

now just to re-iterate as of now everything works fine in game, no errors while playing or anything, this is just preventing me from using/converting any mods for ttw since i cant load up its masters, but i haven't seen the pit or anchorage in game for all i know there broken, but the game starts and im in the wasteland safely.

I believe FNVedit 3.0.29 is required. Try updating FNVedit.

yea....updating to the newest nvedit fixed it, why do my problems always seem to stem from missing a software update?
