TTW won't work?

Post by CookieFortress » Mon Dec 17, 2012 9:16 am

Hello, fellow wastelanders!

My problem is the doors. or maybe more. but i cannot access it. because of the doors...

The download went fine except when it was done because some program was currently using it, which program is uncertain. I first thought that it was FOMM, turned it off but no luck. Then i thought it was steam, stupid but yeah, it didn't work. I cannot think of any other program that uses it, except the downloader, but that cannot be the problem surely?

I'm fairly certain you're going to have to be more clear about the problem than that. So far I gather that something is using something, and that's not letting the download finish?

I can't really offer any more

I can't really offer any more help on my part, but the screenshot and the information the error gave me should be more sufficient.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

That's exactly what the devs need to figure out the problem. I can tell you though that many people have had that problem. Check your NV folder. If fallout_default.ini is there adjust your load order according to the download page and test it out. You should be able to launch the game.

That just means your windows

Post by TJ » Mon Dec 17, 2012 10:59 pm

That just means your windows is hiding file extensions. fallout_default is your .ini file. Try it out, it should load just fine.
