Tried it with a german retail version of F3+dlcs, with a german steam F3 goty version (stupid steam wouldn't let me buy the english version...) and with a english goty version of "questionable" origin.

The result is always the same. Is it a problem with the versions of F3 I trying it with or am I doing something else wrong ?

Hope you guys can help because I can't imagine playing either NV or F3 without TTW anymore.

Yeah unfortunately it has to be english, I'm going to ignore the "questionable origins" considering you already purchased the actual steam game...

Make sure your "questionable" install hasnt been tampered with...

It shouldn't be a problem. Get me the install log (the text box between the install button and the option button).

I'm not sure what 0xc000007b is... can I just get a screen shot of the issue? Whichever error pops up.

Read the FAQ I recently updated it with the only known reason for this glitch. The solution there is not guaranteed to help, but is worth trying.
