Alpha: Can't start new game.

I am working with the exact same load order as shown in the alpha download page and my version of new vegas is the most recent. However when I attempt to start a new game, it will give me all the usual notices about DLC and then it will leave me standing motionless in front of Doctor Li as if I were an adult, with absolutely nothing happening. I've tried to COC elsewhere. I've tried to enable my controls. I've experimented with killing everyone in the room through console. I'm at this point baffled on how to start.

The only oddity is that when I installed it, the data files and such were put into a data folder in the same folder as the update. I was forced to copy them to the New Vegas directory. When the game starts I get the usual start screen with the broken radio and the soldier.

I am however using new vegas script extender with 4gb memory. I didn't think it would make a difference if I used that because I do have updated textures. I am, however, rethinking that as of now. Help would be appreciated.

Do you have any other mods installed other than TTW, if so, I need a list.

Nope. My load order is the exact same as the instructed one. I deactivated all the others. other mods I did have are like Project nevada, New Vegas Restoration and a handful of weapon mods. I've removed all those from the load order and the only things that still load are like Ojo Bueno and other high quality textures. But that shouldn't mess with much. I think it's just time to make a clean install. It's been a long while and about a thousand mods since I've done that.
