Carsh on loading saves after Vaut exit

Having a major problem here. After I exit Vault 101 during Escape!, it goes through the whole level up thing and giving you the new quest. Anytime a save after that sequence and try to load said saves, the game crashes. If I save in an interior like silver's house or the school, it loads fine, but the game crashes as soon as i step outside. Any save made before the exit sequence load fine. Seems like a problem with the outside world.

Windows 8, Intel Core i7-3630M 2.40GHz, 8gb RAM

That's a big load order, you will have some trouble with it.


Also you shouldn't activate any mods before exiting Vault 101.

Ok found out what the problem

Ok found out what the problem was. I had applied the sheson memory patch for nvse and that was making my game unstable. Removed that and game runs fine now, just loads a bit slower.

Which values did you set for it?


If you're using EnBoost with it maybe you've set some improper values.

I created the nvse_config.ini file and added the lines:


[Memory]


DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=400


 


I also went into the stutter remover ini and set breplaceheap =1 and iheapsize to 512. I am also using NVAC 6.7.0.0. I was NOT using the Zan AutoPurge mod. Could that have been the cause?

I don't really know about NVAC but to me it's more something related to your load order.

You're expanding the heap size via NVSR and increasing the default heap size through NVSE? You have, at most, 2GiB of addressable memory available to FNV and 4GiB with the LAA flag set; this doesn't include the memory already taken up by game assets and plugins.


 


Try removing your changes in NVSE and NVSR to the safe defaults and seeing if the crash still occurs.

What are the safe defaults? I know in NVSR it was 250.
