TTW Challenge Problems

Post by kuromuts » Sat Dec 27, 2014 6:59 pm

I have found several issues with the challenges added by TTW:

Private Ryan

This challenge requires all 4 American soldiers in Operation Anchorage to be rescued.

It seems that this challenge is bugged as every 1 soldier rescued was counted 2 to the challenge.

Too Good to be Two

This challenge may be bugged. In my play, this challenge was achieved when the I killed the first Gary with lead pipe. It should have been achieved once every Gary was killed.

Legacy Character

The interval of this challenge appears to be 0/0.

Roasted Roach

I have killed the Roach King with a Heavy Incinerator but it didn't count to this challenge. (needs verify)

The arkansas challenge needs

Post by Question » Thu Jul 30, 2015 1:33 pm

The arkansas challenge needs to be a frag mine, not just any mine. I just tested it and confirms it works.

I can confirm the roach king challenge doesnt work, the problem is i cant figure out why. I checked the data in teh GECK and everything looks OK, but the kill is not registering for some reason. I also tried changing it from the pyromaniac weapons list to the plasma spaz list, and the kill was not registering either.

I even tried changing it from the roach king to ymir, and the kill STILL was not registering. Something is weird here...

Edit : Okay i figured out the bug. The roach king uses a template. From what i can tell, the game sees the template and goes "oh thats NOT the roach king!" and refuses to give you the challenge. I removed the template and everything works fine....

Thanks Question, took me awhile to figure out what template was but when I found the drop down box and changed it to None it worked like a charm (just had to get him before the roaches did. Arkansas gave me problems but with him all I had to do was exit game and reload just before blowing him up. Actually he was my buddy at the time and it was his clone that set off the mine.

I just found out that when I use a grenade mine or etc with shortcuts kill doesnt count as progress for the challenges. ex: I killed arkansas with mine with shortcut it didnt count. I loaded equiped the mine as main weapon and killed him again then it counted.

This is a thread for problems in the old 2.9.4 TTW. It's no longer supported. If you have an issue with the new 3.2.2, start a new thread and clearly and explicitly state the issue.
