Anyone else having problems with the 1.3a Patch?

Post by TJ » Tue Nov 20, 2012 1:56 pm

I've had no trouble with any of the installers before now. 7zip said one of the loading screens was broken when extracting it. Pointed it to my TTW folder like always and get "file not found". Run again and get "fallout3.esm not found". Ran again and got unsupported version of anchorage.esm. Also something about my data/(some updates folder) is missing. Any of this normal? What can I do to fix this?

My project Dash is on Kickstarter!

Yeah same here.  Maybe the uploaded .rar file didn't actually make it 100% uploaded?

I'm noticing a lot of lip and ogg files in the installer. Was some of the dialog reworked/tweaked?

Those might be fixes for some of the missing dialoge.

New file looks good!

They are, any missing dialog is now considered a high-priority fix. I want to get that stuff quashed. Also, robots should use FO3 voices in DC, NV voices in Mojave, and RL3 should always use the FO3 Mr Gutsy voice.

I keep getting this error, and when I hit continue, it just locks up and becomes unreponsive.

Make sure you dont have fallout running.

Make sure you don't have multiple instances of the installer running.

If all else fails, restart your computer and try again.

I've tried all of those and run CCleaner in case my VLC cache was causing problems.

This is the full error message I get
