How soon can i access the metro

Hello all.

I have the latest version of the mod installed and am currently playing Fallout 3 to build up some xp and skills but i was wondering at what point i would be able to get in the metro by Dukovs place to go over the New Vegas.

I have seen information that it is after the Wasteland Survival Guide has been completed and another that it is when the character gets near to the end of the main quest.

Can anyone say for sure as i am itching to have a go and would like to know how much longer i may have to wait as i am up to level 6 so far.

At the moment i have seen that the doorway is blocked by wooden boards and i wonder if this is intentional till the appropriate time.

Well, from what I can see they have created a whole new train! There ya go. I am also guessing the new location means that it is going to be much harder at a low level to get there. You may want to wait.

Hi.Thanks for posting an update with the location of the new station.Even harder than the original with all those mutants.

I found the new station behind the National Archives and after accessing it,killing a few ghouls i then believe i may have found the access tunnel based on the new pictures which is to the lower right of the upper platform but it is still blocked.

I tried to save a bmp file picture to show the location but couldn't for some reason.

The newest version of the game seems to have installed okay but i am puzzled why i could not go through.

Can i try to access another station?

That isn't the new station, you access the worldspace where the station is is, by going through a door alongside the far right tunnel in that metro behind the archives.

Two possibilities that the tunnel entrance is still blocked:

1. You haven't updated to 2.4 yet.

Solution: update to TTW 2.4

2. You are using an older save where this cell already was loaded once.

Solution: going back to a save where you haven't visited that area yet or start a new game

In my game, with an existing save, the tunnel is also blocked. I used the console to disable some of the rubble and still no door, but clipping through the left wall worked. Everything after that worked fine.
