The problem is the existing save here yes. The original rubble is set to initially disabled (to delete it would cause troubles with mods or crash your old save) so we have to go the nice route which is sadly not updated when the cell was already loaded. Loading cells btw. also happens when you are only near a door which leads to the cell.

Hello all.

Thanks for the information about access.

As VodkaMilk and Trm8r say this was happening to myself.

I have the latest issue of TTW as well as having started a new game when i posted my request and am now on another new one so i will see when i get to this area if access is now allowed.

In the meantime here is my load order in case someone can see if a mod may be the cause of the problem.

Many Thanks.

Ian

Madfall, did you attach the correct load order? Are you playing Fallout NV or Fallout 3?

I don't see any Fallout NV plugins in your load order. Please read the FAQ and take note of the requirements for playing TTW.

hello.

I am currently playing Fallout 3 and have had a look at the FAQ and have downloaded TTW DC Interiors Core and Interiors Combo,TTW Fellout,TTW NVEC and patch,TTW Crafting plug in.

Since i don't want to make a mistake would these be enough or do i have to keep going through the mod list as a lot of this is new to me.

Attached in my mod order list for Fallout New Vegas.

Mmmm I can be wrong, but you don't seem to have any TTW needed esm's active so you are not playing TTW at all frown.

When you install TTW you don't go back and play your Fallout 3 game, you play your Fallout New Vegas game instead and it will include the stuff from the Fallout 3 game IN your Fallout New Vegas.

Hello Risewild.

Hello Risewild.

I am playing a new game and started by putting in the Fallout New Vegas disc which you suggested which loaded and a screen came up to say tale of Two Wastelands in yellow with the logo in the background.

I clicked on new game and the next screen was the birth video from Fallout 3 which i went through, chose the face i wanted, name and then the various steps until i am now trying to escape from the vault.

All of the writing is in yellow and i am hoping that everything is correct and that when i get to the appropriate section i can access the metro and proceed. If i can i am looking forward to seeing what happens.

I'll post as i get to this.

In my game, with an existing save, the tunnel is also blocked. I used the console to disable some of the rubble and still no door, but clipping through the left wall worked. Everything after that worked fine.

I actually had a similar problem this last week.  Everything was going perfect, fought my way to Penn/Mall metro, no open tunnel.  Checked back with screenshots here a half dozen times to ensure that yes, I was in the right place.  Just a collapsed tunnel.

Tracked the issue down to what appeared to be an outdated TTW ESM.  Replaced it with the latest 2.4a version, and the tunnel cleared, but Columbus Circle was full of missing textures.  It turned out that, for some reason, when I upgraded my TTW 2.2 to 2.4a, the upgrade didn't work completely (or maybe at all), and I was running 2.2 thinking I was in 2.4a.  After rebuilding the 2.4a files a couple times and loading them into a fresh install of FNV, everything worked perfect.

So if you upgraded from 2.2, it is possible that something went wrong during the update process.  If nothing else works, build a clean 2.4a and move your mods.  Do it right and your save games should be fine.
