Can i not tell Yes Man that i want White Gloves left alone?

Really, is there any other way to deal with them? I don´t want to just wipe them out outright but once i take over the strip i really don´t want them around, they are still cannibals under the surface and the identity they adopted for themselves insures that will not go away, it is only a matter of time before it resurfaces. I want Securitrons to sweep White Gloves and clean house, i don't want them in Vegas, do i have to tell Yes Man to leave them alone to progress the story?
