Hey all! I've put a lot of time and effort into my TTW, and I love every second of it. Unfortunately the game still struggles to load assets sometimes and I stutter a lot when running across the wasteland. I'd like to move my Fallout: Vegas to my SSD but I don't want to break my game as I have put countless hours into modding it. Do you think moving the game to my SSD is wise? And do you think it could help long load screens and stutters as the game loads distant objects? Thanks!

Moving any Bethesda game is easy - just change the registry entry path to match where you put the game. I commonly do this as I prefer my games somewhere other than the default install location.
32-bit registry entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\FalloutNV
64-bit registry entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bethesda Softworks\FalloutNV
Now as to whether or not moving it to the SSD will cure your stutter issues, no idea, but I know lots of people do it and are happy with the improvement.

It helps with load times and
It helps with load times and cell transitions.. quicker asset load is less stutter. SSD's now have read/write cycles high enough that gaming doesn't stress them out enough to matter, I think. If you want to easily do it, you could cut the whole folder, paste somewhere on your SSD, and make a symbolic link back to where it was.
