Disc and Steam versions work together?

I've just decided to try TTW for the first time. I have both Fallout Game of the year edition ( on disc's no steam requirment ) and also New Vegas ultimate edition, but this 2nd I got on sale on Steam.

Can these 2 be used successfully together, or do I need to re-purchase the Fallout GOTY on Steam?

Thanks for any input, I did do about a 15 minute search, before posting this question, but couldn't seem to find anything about this particular issue.

You can use them together, no need to buy the game again.

Like Chuck said you can use them together, just make sure you don't forget to install the second disk of the FO3 GotY before you run the TTW installer .
