TTW Installation

Hey guys, new guy here. Do I need a clean installation of FO3 as well as FNV or just a clean install of FNV?

Yeah, it's ideal if you build TTW from clean installs of both FO3/NV. Not sure what can/will go wrong if you don't use a clean install, but I would suggest downloading fresh installs of both games and then backing up the vanilla games so you don't have to redownload them everytime you want/need to rebuild/update TTW.

If you don't want to delete your current FO3/NV install completely, move the whole game folder to a new location then tell Steam to delete all local files, allowing you to redownload the vanilla games while keeping your modded games safe in a different location.

What do you mean 'move the whole game folder to a different location?' Do you mean the FNV and FO3 folders within the steam>steamapps>common folder? or something else?

You really shouldn't install games into Program Files anymore, they should be installed in a different directory like C:\Games so that you, the user, has permission to alter the files.

Again, let me ask, is it the game folder I mentioned or something else?
