Why Just FNV Weapons?

Okay, I started Tale of Two Wastelands; and I'm seeing more FNV weapons than FO3 ones. Aren't you going to combine both for the Capital Wasteland vendors? Where's the Chinese Assault Rifle, the 10mm Pistol, and all of those?


And I see you have a TTW patch for Project Nevada. Is that going to bring back the FO3 weapons?

you're wondering why there's twice as many fnv weapons than fo3 weapons?  it's because there's twice as many fnv weapons than fo3 weapons.


perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

because FNV added a ton of new weapons to the game.  so when we added the two sets of equipment together, fnv weapons to all the relevant lists and tiers, we ended up with, shocker, lots of fnv weapons.

Wait, so there's not going to be FO3 weapons all because FNV has more variants? Why not combine the both of them? I miss the Chinese Assault Rifle and some of the other weapons. The weapons for FNV are good, but why not have both?


I think someone would want to make a mod for that.

are you reading these at all?  yes.  the fo3 weapons are in the game.  they share lists with appropriate leveled of lists.  since there's so many more fnv weapons though, you're going to see a lot more fnv weapons.

The only weapons TTW removes

The only weapons TTW removes is the .32 pistol and the .32 hunting rifle. since NV's hunting rifle was .308 the team went with that version and then there was only weapon that used .32 so we changed it to .22 from NV. ALL OTHER FO3 WEAPONS are in TTW.

I do not understand this thread, in my game while in the Capital Wasteland I have way more Assault Rifles, Chinese Assault Rifles, Chinese Pistols, etc... I would say that if the player is in the FO3 part of TTW and only sees FNV weapons than that must be due to FNV mods that add weapons, because really I mostly find FO3 weapons in my unmodded TTW...

No, I don't have any other mods in there. My laptop had problems; and as a result, I lost all of my saved mods. TTW is the only one I have at the moment. No, I'm not seeing a lot of FO3 weapons, and I understand why; but are the alterations really necessary? For example, I start with the 9mm Pistol instead of the 10mm. What's the idea behind that?


So, you have a huge collection of Assault Rifles. How did you pull that one off? Project Nevada has FO3 weapons, as well as weapons from other previous Fallout titles. Are you sure you don't have Project Nevada being the reason for your collection of Assault Rifles?


 


And yes, Puppettron, I'm reading what's being said. I just don't understand.

I am the lead tester of TTW, I never EVER install mods in my TTW (in 3 years of TTW testing I never installed other mods besides DarnUI and MCM) also I never played or installed PN or any other FNV mod, and yes I have a lot of Assault Rifles, Chinese AR and all other FO3 weapons (exception is combat shotguns, I haven't found any in this playthrough but I only tested this last version of TTW for little less than 10 hours), I focus my testing in the FO3 side of TTW so I never even went to the Mojave or even took the train ride yet. Most Assault Rifles come from Super Mutants and maybe higher level raiders if I recall correctly, hope that helps.


The 9mm pistol was changed because that is the lower tier weapon pistol, it was changed for balance reasons, I think there was mods around here that restored it back smiley.
