I can't stand the wonky ADS that the alien weapons have currently and I'm trying to change them to how they were in FO3 There doesn't seem to be any forum posts that I can find related to this, and I have tried everything that my incredibly limited knowledge will let me. Which is just messing around with the weapons in geck and changing the animations and such. I'm not sure what to do past that since 'Don't use first person IS' is already checked and trying to change any of the animations make my game CTD on launch

Not that I know of. I just went through and checked all of my mods and I had the fallout 3 iron sights modders resource so I uninstalled that and it didn't change anything. I also checked Don't use 3rd person IS and it didn't change. I think I'm just gonna add a scope to it in geck so that it removes the model when I aim

Yeah, I backed up my save and removed all other mods and it still didn't work. I don't know how I got it to work, I think I just had to disable and then re-enable don't use first person IS because it seems fine now. Although when I shoot it still pops back to the original aiming position, but I don't really care as long as I can see when I'm aiming
