in fallout 3 hunting rifles are common and the ammo is as well, in fallout NV hunting riffles are powerful and rare and the ammo is scarce, this is the same for a few other items like the stealth armour. how does TTW handle this

If you're also curious about items like the Gauss Rifle, which appears in both games, NV's version is used. In general, whenever items appear in both games which are the 'same but different,' NV's versions are used.

thanks that mostly answers my question, but 308 rounds in fallout 3 are quit rare 32 are not/ the hunting rifle is weak in fallout 3 but kinda op in nv

TTW doesn't have .32 anymore,

TTW doesn't have .32 anymore, the Hunting rifle is the same as the FNV one, it is easier to get in DC but since the ammo is rare it makes it less OP in the FO3 side of TTW.
