Going to update TTW. Making a list. Need some suggestion.

Post by Lancars » Thu Jun 18, 2015 6:09 pm

So I'm going to be reinstalling TTW since there has been an update and i'm making a list for myself but suggestions are welcomed.

TTW

WMX

WME

EVE

P-NV

maybe Powered Unpowered armor.

maybe Redisgned.

DO i need classic fallout weapons if i'm using PN and EVE?

AWOP?

I'm just looking to just expand a small amount. Not to much.

CFW is entirely optional... I can't play without AWOP's myself. That load order looks nice and simple to me, I'd add PN Extra Options, DarN, the PN TTW patch, RWED and MCM to that on top of Redesigned.

Oh and ditch WME it's not compatible with WMX and doesn't support TTW anyways.

@undead4life That is a nice list, I think I want to use every mod in that list.

As soon as I find the time to start my new walkthrough (in 1 or 2 weeks) I will post my possible immersive, survival orientated mod list. Thanks for the good ideas ;)

Here is me thread about it (first post is outdated, but still usefull):

It would be awesome if they ever made something like FWE/FOOK-NV mod especially integrated in TTW (balanced, an tweaked, one mod with configuration options). That wood be a dream. I know I can combine mods to get almost something like it, but I always have the feeling something is missing or not playing as well together as I thought.

FWE was a almost all around pack for me when playing FO3 not much else needed and it feeled like a complete thing to me.

Personal opinion: WMX and WME

Personal opinion: WMX and WME is not worth the trouble getting them to run, getting numerous compatibility patches, and then trying to fix something when something goes wrong. Keep modding light. Fallout don't have as many problems as with The Elder Scrolls that you need to heavily mod it.

The only problem with it, is using it with millenia's retextures because he changed the UV spaces. It works fine with WEP, and I'm much looking forward to the NV version of that.

Eh I'll figure something out.

Eh I'll figure something out. Got it to work with a lot of cursing but i got it to work fine. I think my main reason when i go to install with MO i kept zipping up the files with some sort of compression thus having a greater chance of messing it up. Now i use the store only function and even if its not installed right in the end i can just dump the folder contents into it.

Thank you for atleast taking the time to get those mods to be compatible.
