So now that Fallout 4 is happening for certain, what is in the plans for the future of TTW? I don't think you guys would simply stop working on it after such a long time and so much work, so I'm assuming that you guys are gonna continue with TTW even with a new game coming?

LOL ... too early to ask.
LOL ... too early to ask. They haven't even seen the engine yet and can only speculate.

That's true. As I said, I don't really think they would actually stop working on this even with a new game.

Everyone will get burnt out
Everyone will get burnt out after 6 months of intensive playing, need to take a vacation back to DC and NV, then mosey on back to Boston.

I can't see how FO4, which most likely will use a modified Creation Engine, could actually use assets from FO3/FNV, which are Cryo Engine, without more effort than is likely.

They're different versions of the same game engine. No, not Gamebryo. Ask sesom if you don't believe me. He knows more about Beth's engine than any one man not paid to develop it. In fact, he may actually be paid to develop it, who really knows?

1. Loading. This is probably due to some mod conflicts, and the workaround is easy (Just load a Mojave save, then load a Capital save), but FNV just gets endless loading screens if I try to load a Capital save from bootup. Again, pretty minor, and probably just a mod conflict.

Download the hotfix on the alpha download page. That's what it's there for. rtfm. :P

2. During the Broken Steel quest to obtain the Tesla Coil, FNV crashes as I leave the room with the Tesla Coil in. Reloading the save I made just before using that ladder after rebooting and leaving fixes it. Either a mod conflict or just FNV's buffer getting full (that Tesla effect can't be space efficient).

Mod conflict or you aren't using FNV4GB and/or NVAC.

3. Oasis ceremony. One of them just doesn't show up and the quest just gets stuck with me in a locked position. Probably a mod conflict causing the missing member (the one who speaks after the child) not to show up. Haven't really bothered to console whoever it is into that cell, as I tend to want to burn Harold anyway.

Mod Conflict.

4. Tesla Cannon. Doesn't one hit Vertibirds. Not really a big one since FNV messed with it (4 shots rather than 1, leading to an awkward animation bug) and any rapid fire weapon scraps a Vertibird in seconds (I tend to use a Minigun, plentiful ammo).

We know about that, it's an actual TTW bug.

Also, keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what's coming.

Thank you. We do work quite hard on this (sometimes) :P
As for the future of TTW: Who knows? It's in the future. I know it's getting close to the time to start getting a release together. Problem is, we've all but run out of major bugs to work through. We're mostly down to very minor bugs, and not a whole lot of them. We've also got some balance to work on in the future, tons more (very tedious) work on the optionals, and we have some neat things in store for you for the TTW Options file.
As for a T3W / Tale of Three Wastelands: It'll be discussed when the time is right. It'll be a ton of work as others have said. We'd have to easily double / triple the size of our team to accomodate the workload. Whatever happens, always know that you'll be able to find out either way... right here at the home of TTW.
My project Dash is on Kickstarter!

It'd be incredible if we could run 3 fallout games in one.

It would easily make it the "largest" game in existence... Well, from the top of my head yea.
I really do love the work being put here, for such an ambitious project that actually came to fruition. Most tend to die quickly and quietly. So thanks team for making TTW a success and I hope it be even more successful further down the road.

I have feeling Tales of Three
I have feeling Tales of Three Wastelands would require FO3 and NV to be rebuilt in much the same way Morrowind and Oblivion have to be for Skyrim.
Just pure "what if" though I wonder how FO4's story will be handled? now that there is no lore-friendly way to be the main character IF you are the father/baby/Pre-war person in the trailer.
I've always thought a neat idea to go through the different wastes is that you are NOT the same person. FO3 would end by you traveling to one of thoses " You can't proceed any further " messages.. and if you choose to go you'll get the ending video of the Lone Wanderer going on his way to parts unknown.
NV would pick up as it always does your a the Courier not the Lone Wanderer and as you travel through the Mojave you'll find a grave or perhaps just a stash of everything the Lone Wanderer was carrying at the time he left Washington D.C .
If we throw FO4 into the mix it could be the same for Courier with the items he had on him/her when the NV part of the game ends.
