I want to play fallout 3 for the first time using Tale of two wastelands, but I don't want to be unable to play new vegas from a fresh character. Will this be possible, or can I uninstall tale of two wastelands in order to go back to vanilla FNV?

you can simply deactivate TTW
you can simply deactivate TTW and all of it's plugins and play vanilla FNV. there is also a mod that will let you have a NV start if you want to play that way.

some people just play the FO3
some people just play the FO3 side because TTW adds all the FNV stuff like crafting and iron sites to it. FNV is virtually untouched by TTW so if you choose a start in NV and never go to FO3 you'll never see it or the changes it makes. Well accept for the new building in freeside.
