Hey,
first and foremost i know that the best way to check these issues for answers is to just give it a go and install it, but i no longer have the original disc for F3, so i am not able to check this for myself.
I want to ask how technologically "interconnected" is the capital wasteland with mojave, and whether the game is "New Vegas" with CW in it, the other way around, or something else? I am asking this for the purpose of knowing, whether i would need to fire up geck for NW or F3 to check some things or change some global values, scripts, etc. Are these the same games script-wise? I mean if i have a mod like Realistic Reloading (without which i frankly cant imagine playing :), will it affect the DC portion aswell, or will it work at all? Are there perks integrated from both games? And how about challenges? Do they work, or have you removed them? I watched some videos illustrating the travel between DC and Mojave, and it is supposed to take 9 years, but can you travel freely between them after that? Or is it definitive? And if the game starts in DC, will there be an option for hardcore mod from NV?
Last but not least, how open is TTW to small-time modding, like if i want to change, upgrade perks or do some other modification to anything, like damage multipliers, etc.? Can it cause any troubles? In Geck, will i have an access to both content simultaneously? If I rebuild some existing mod or scripts in "TTW" geck, will it work?
Sorry for so many questions, as i said i cant test it right now, but the whole enormous effort sounds just...fantastic, and i just want to check whether the f3 is worth reacquiring after all these years, because i have felt f3 to be a little rough around edges, and gradually i fell in love with New Vegas, which in my opinion was an improvement in almost every aspect gameplay-wise.
Any answers are appreciated.
