Yeah as you've probably read, everyone has their own preferences.

My post from that discussion thread pretty much covers it for me, although if I wanted the most immersive, but modded, experience, this would be my list:

Fixes:

  • Delay DLC - crucial for better immersion

  • MTUI and then OneHUD on top of it - UI fixes (or darn UI works too)

  • Mod configuration menu (required for several mods, gotta get the latest version)

Graphics Upgrades

  • NMC's texture packs for FO3 and then FNV

  • Vurt's flora for FO3 and FNV

  • EVE and the TTW patch

  • Type 3 body, Breezes body, and associated clothes (see the FAQ)

Lighting and darker nights

  • Fellout for TTW - gets rid of weird tints and makes nights realistically dark

  • Streetlights ported for TTW

  • Simple streetlights for NV

  • Flashlight NVSE

Additional content

  • Project Nevada and the TTW patch (can't play without it)

  • WMX and the TTW patch (gotta have weapon mods)

  • TTW Interiors (both of FNV and FO3 interiors mods, fits very well the the original game)

  • Busworld (explorable buses)

My top mods that I can't live

My top mods that I can't live without:

NVAC - New Vegas Anti-Crash

NVSE - New Vegas Script Extender

NVSR - New Vegas Stutter Remover

FNV4GB

Precision Collision (You won't be killed by wobbling books that rocket to your face anymore)

Max Followers 12 - Changes the creature follow limit from 6 to 12

Armour Repair Kits

That's about it, fixes mostly. I also like Classic Fallout Weapons New Vegas, but I know others don't
