Sup everyone! I just stumbled upon this project yesterday by what seemed like total accident. I have been saying for the past two years that if I could play a game with Fallout 3's atmosphere, setting and mood with the gameplay, mechanics, and systems of New Vegas, I would have a perfect Fallout game. Lo and behold, I chance upon this project, and one of my biggest dreams of the past 2 years is fulfilled. Installation was relatively painless, and I can play both games on the superior engine. So first and foremost, THANK YOU to the people who made this happen. You are my heroes.
I'd also like to add that I started playing TTW using an existing New Vegas save, which I know is not recommended. Be that as it may, I was able to go to the CW and complete the entire main quest up to the start of BS (where I'm at currently) without encountering any bugs that a quick reload wasn't able to fix. I was extremely surprised at how stable and gamebreaking-bug-free this project is. I'm very experienced with the console and GECK, so for any other minor bugs or (what I view to be) balance issues, I just create my own little patch for it, much how I've done with vanilla NV and FO3. Really, you guys have already outdone yourselves, and the fact that you continue to improve the project just makes my day.
This is the first non-visual mod I have ever seriously used (beyond a quick sample and/or bug-testing) in a Fallout game, and I'm very glad I decided to try it. It has already surpassed all expectations and will only continue to do so. If I may possibly be of assistance to the project team in any way, please feel free to contact me. I know my way around the GECK and the in-game console very well, and have fixed many bugs of varying degrees from both the base games of FO3/NV and many mods associated with them. I'd be more than happy to assist with brainstorming, testing, or implementing future improvements and bugfixes. I'll be visiting the forums frequently, and possibly seeing if I can fulfill some mod requests, so feel free to get at me.
And again, a big thank you to the project team for your amazing work.
