Wrong Gauss Rifle at the end of Anchoredge?

Post by Obdulio » Sun Feb 22, 2015 12:47 am

I notice the reward Gauss Rifle in the armory is the New Vegas [ " WeapNVGaussRifle" ] version instead of the FO3 [ DLC02WeapGaussRifleWasteland" ] is this intentional ?   Before when i thought EVE wasn't working on the Gauss Rifle it was because the one rewarded to you was the NV one which doesn't have the blue coil effect.

There is only one gauss rifle

There is only one gauss rifle across wastelands and indeed in the TTW game, the NV version. It is the only one currently that you could receive.

If a weapon's in both games, TTW typically uses the one that's present in New Vegas for consistency.

From my recollection, at least.

And like, other stuff, I guess.

huh I always thought the New

huh I always thought the New Vegas Gauss Rifle was a different model from the the FO3 one ?   It has additional parts on it and lacks the knock down effect of the FO3 Gauss so i always assumed they were different guns.

Add EVE and the FO3 one glows while the NV does not, Well at least now i know it was a choice made by TTW crew and not somekind of bug. I've adjusted it to my liking in my game with a personal esp to restore the FO3 verison back into it. Thanks for so answering quickly!

they are different, but official ttw uses the nv one.  the original exists in files though, if you're modding

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.
