why Fallout Tale Of Two Wasteland is awesome:Player Point of view

Post by PipBoyBuddy » Wed Oct 16, 2013 5:19 am

Hello Everyone PipboyBuddy here, So after playing TTW for awhile, very Appreciative of this mod. i decided to make a post, telling Things i like about it how how i see Certain things, and hopefully we can all give our input into seeing just how truly amazing this is.

I've always been a fan of Fallout. and it always  was a dream to play both games without having to exit. *before i knew about any of this* i was hoping someone would make a menu mod that like basically lets you Choose wheather you want to play fallout 3 or new vegas.

then i found out about this and was more then Amazed and Spent Valuable time Reading the install instructions so it would be Properly done.

Now one of the first things that is Superb, is that. You start off in fallout 3, and if you're a Role player like me, the fact that you're playing New vegas completely slips your mind. and go on about with doing what it is you choose as the player to do,

then in the middle of gameplay it hit me, "this is ******** Awesome" once i finished Fallout 3 main quest or get to a certain point, i see New Vegas, as a "Reward" if you will. you know what i'm saying?

like Think of it like f03 is the Main game. and you play and do quest then you go into New Vegas. it's like a trophy, Bonus Content. a Reward for all that hardwork. and makes the game even more addicting & Fun, over the years of playing fallout i'v always 'depended' on mods to make my game somewhat more mysterious and interesting i know some of you know Just exactly what i mean. Modding FTW :D

Yeah I agree mate, there

Yeah I agree mate, there needs to be a thread where we can gush over these things, as we take it for granted sometimes. You say you see F3 as the main game, whereas I see NV as the main game, and F3 works as an 'uber-dlc' if you like. But for me its the amount of real estate the two games combined offers. With vaults plus interiors in mind, plus mods like BBD and TTWInt, it becomes mind-boggling how big the game does become.

I actually don't like that about TTW ;p I'd rather it played more like Tutu than BGT.

I wish the train station between the two wastelands was an optional install.

Yup, that DLC called the Capital Wasteland is awesome... Even has five other DLCs attached to it wink

I didn't bother going to Vegas until I explored the Capital Wasteland and did all the DLCs. I was that overawed with TTW. yes

It was like memory lane travelling through FO3... Atmosphere of FO3 rocked, and with the cool Vegas engine and better mechanics. Missed the harvesting though in FO3, and was great with the crafting of Vegas...

The main quest in FO3 about who can turn the water purifier on FIRST is a bit silly though... wink

Glad you're enjoying TTW :)  Though I should tell you, if you're using my patch there's no need to use OAChasefix.  That issue is one that's fixed with my patch as well cheeky.

I would also like to thank the TTW team for making this mod, it really does entice me like no other game for some reason...Being able to play two of my favorite games, all in the same game, is like nothing else...I think it IS my favorite game, because somehow it's a game all to itself...

Thank you Jax, and everyone else who had a part in making TTW what it is today. You guys are awesome
