Once it's a FOMOD it can just be run through FOMM or NMM to install.

But on a serious note, in my experience (as well as many others), TTW is more stable than FO3 is stand alone.

I just had to second this. I've been way impressed with how stable TTW is, compared to the final release of FO3. I still get crashes, but they almost always end up the results of mod conflicts or rogue records in mods. I just assume now that if I'm having problems, it's me and not the game. Never could say the same about stock FO3.

Yes, TTW is awesome. The stability alone makes me dance the happy dance. Also, I never had so much fun killing bad guys with a 9 in all of New Vegas. Clearing out the supermarket was a breeze!

Agreed, with TTW and NVAC, I can play for hours on end. Since I've gotten NVAC a couple of months ago, I've crashed maybe 3 or 4 times, and I'm running a heavy mod set up.

I know that. Although I wonder how man mods can be run on NV without the thing melting into slag. For my ill fated Fallout 3 mod job, the answer was everything up to BA. After that cut it out.
And guys, Anchorage is SO much fun in TTW! Although in mine, the frag mines are giving me the big red exclamation marks. Not sure if my loadout or something that needs to be patched. All I know is that all the TTW optional patches I loaded do not work at all. Maybe the Anchorage options will start once I complete guns of Anchorage?*
*Anchorage is my favorite DLC ever. It made me realize all the cool stuff in Fallout actually happened before the nuclear war, not after. Plus....welll....AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!!!!

There is a fix for that in the hotfixes on the TTW Alpha Download page. Look for it in the Download section.

The Armory 2.5 (300 weapons
The Armory 2.5 (300 weapons for NV and some parts of F3) and Apocalype Armor 2.0 (100 weapons for F3 and some parts of NV) will be your friends, although I don't know if the weapons from AA2.0 have iron sights (probably not, which is a big mood killer).
