Bethesda's TTW (an interesting idea)

I know they won't, but wouldn't it be nice if Bethesda made an official version of TTW

Here is what it would entail, work with the TTW developers to get further TTW things done by Bethesda's developers, incorporate the Fallout 3 and New Vegas bug fixes into the ESMs, add a few of the Fallout 4 graphic updates, change the EXE to 4gb (like with Skyrim), and release it for PC and Next-Gen consoles as Fallout TTW, sell it for 30 bucks, and make is so that if Steam detects both Fallout 3 and New Vegas on your computer it only costs 20.

I would buy that, and it would give a tremendous incentive to Fallout 3 (script heavy) mod makers to make TTW versions because it is official from Bethesda. Bethesda makes money off limited work, and Obsidian makes money off their deal with Bethesda for no work at all

It seems like everyone wins, alas it will never happen

It would be great to make a Bethesda version of TTW, but it would likely never happen. This is because Bethesda doesn't care about Fallout, they only care about the money they can rake in. A revamp of two games would bring in lots of money if they do it right, but licensing issues would occur as Bethesda didn't technically make New Vegas (not at all, actually). This is just what I can think up off the top of my head. Bethesda is failing to make their games appeal to the fans of the games (I'm not talking about Skyrim, because I've never played it to know honestly what they've done to it). Bethesda wants to make the games mind-numbingly boring (yes, I'm talking about Fallout 4) to appeal to the lowest common denominator, so basically they want to appeal to the average dudebro who wants to shoot up a bunch of people. Having two wastelands would make the average dudebro's head hurt. Therefore Bethesda wouldn't do this.
