BOS Patrols

Has anyone else noticed the Brotherhood doing patrols in places they were never at. I for example encountered a patrol of them up by the Nuka cola factory and then i also followed a who patrol of close to ten of them all the way back from Adam's air force base to the Capital building, where they then began a patrol of the Sewerard square area. Is this a glitch. A rather neat one mind you. Or was this something added to TTW. I wanted to ask because i've never encountered them anywhere other than the few Vanilla locations they're at by default.

Mmm do you mean BOS patrols or Outcasts Patrols?

The Outcast patrols are special encounters which are triggered randomly. So their appearance isn't on fixed locations and is different in every game. The other factor is that they have a better survival chance in TTW because of slightly changed weapons and armor stats. So their behavior is pretty normal.

Well after reading the post better, I am assuming it is the BOS that is patrolling and not the Outcasts since you said there was a patrol of ten of them while the outcasts are usually two and a robot IIRC. I don't remember anything like that being added to TTW but I also don't really know about everything that was added .

Yeah, main Brotherhood. At the Capital there was close to ten Paladins and maybe some Knights, They had come from Adams which is odd. Then the Brotherhood i encountered by the nuka cola plant had come from the direction of the Citadel. A area the outcasts never go. Just seems odd because i've never seen that happen in any play though i've done. Vanilla, RFCW or TTW. Hope to see them other places now too. It'll justify what they say about doing patrols around the DC area.
