New Vegas ammo and ammo quick select option for Fallout 3

I was thinking about it lately there should be a compatability patch, mod or something that allows FNV's ammo and the selector option to work with the Fo3 weapons. Its already there, just not accessible in 3.

You know with NV quick select menu the very top center slot was replaced with a ammo selector option that allows you to select the different types of rounds available for each weapon. Fo3 doesn't use that, its a extra slot to store weapons or armor. Only with ttw running thaty slot is now being used as the nv ammo selection option but it doesn't work for fo3. I was wondering if anybody could actually make it work with fo3. I noticed that it does work with a couple fo3 weapons such as Lincoln's repeater.

It SHOULD be working with all of the FO3 weapons, it is quite possibly a mod conflict. Which weapons, specifically, do you notice it NOT working for?

I'll have to get back to you on that to be more specific with the vanilla weapons, because i haven't used that many of them and if i did. It likely wasn't long enough to test that out. I'm not really a big fan of the vanilla weapons. As of lately i found a good NV mod of the M16 and i've been using that as my primary weapon, along with a m107 sniper rifle to fill that role. I was thinking more on mod weapon compatibility. Because i know all weapons modded for NV automatically work with that, but fo3 ones don't. And i know they definitely are'nt compatible with true iron sights. Although i suppose that's asking a little too much now and yeah i know there are a few mods that do do that. But to a very limited extent. By the way for anyone that's interested. I have a copy of the high desert tactical shop mod for FNV that was removed from the nexus. I don't know if its against the rules here to post mods, but i could if its ok. It adds a bunch of nice weapons and armors to the game and i've had no trouble running that mod. I also have Ahzteks weapon pack that was removed if anyone is interested in that.

As for the ammo select thats not automatic, the mod creator MUST set it up to use the ammo list, if they don't it won't, same with iron sights. So that stuff is for the creator to fix.
