Hello there,


I have a quick question for u.


I know already that u can bring followers to the 2 different Wastelands, but will it work with the DLC?


Can u bring any follower from Fallout 3 to the DLC for Fallout New Vegas and vice versa?


That would be awesome i think!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think you can take followers into DLC anyway, I'm pretty sure that every DLC fires all followers.

If memory serves me right, all the DLC's in either game fire (or makes us fire) all of the followers.


The only thing I can think about where it would make sense taking followers to DLC locations are the ones we can access after we complete them, like OWB (FNV), The Pitt (FO3) etc. In my opinion after we are allowed to travel to and from those locations freely there is no point in not be able to take our companions with us, specially OWB since it give a nice player house with amenities we can't find in any other player house in the game (except with mods).

I always make my custom followers so they can follow you anywhere if you chose to take them.

Agreed. When I make my "Companions to DLC areas" mods, I always disallow them in areas where it would interrupt the story, which accounts for pretty much all of them. The exceptions for me are Point Lookout and Honest Hearts. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to buy another ticket for your followers on the Duchess Gambit, and I also don't understand why the Happy Trails caravan wouldn't welcome another gun on a dangerous trek through the wasteland.


One exception... for Lonesome Road, I allow Dogmeat. I like Dogmeat, and having him along doesn't detract from the "Lonesome" aspect of Lonesome Road.


And yeah, I allow followers into areas after they have been initially visited and the player can return such as the Pitt and Big MT.

Ok thanx for your answers. Its sad that u cant take your followers to the DLC. Well then i must download a custom follower.
