How to get back to playing and modding TTW

Post by Darkersun » Tue Apr 22, 2014 2:04 pm

Hi all,

its been some time since I did my last small modding attempts to TTW (I was never a real modder, just changing equipment values, some stats, etc.)

I still love the game and TTW make it more awesome. Also I never played through the broken steel DLC (FO3 with  FWE crashed on me). But its getting harder to find the time for it, work and other "rl" things allways try to get in the way.

Are some of you having the same issues? Looking for new mods and things on a dayly basis, but somehow never start a new walkthrough?

Yep all the time. My computer

Yep all the time. My computer's hard drive completely crashed out so currently going through withdrawal symptoms. And yes finding the time is always a challenge, two jobs+School+wife+kids= no a lot of free time. I'd like to do a completely "Vanilla" TTW (not strictly Vanilla vanilla but you get the idea) once I get the HD issues resolved but there are a few "must have" mods that I'll probably use and then once the FULL playthrough is done start adding the mods and trying them out. I usually add mods that add buildings/worldspace/quests to add to the overall playthrough or I add enemy mods or mods that make it more challenging(MMM etc). So we'll see. But I've honestly never played all the FNV DLC vanilla so I think it's time I did.

I usually set aside a couple hours a night prior to sleeping for gaming. ideally i get to do some that way.

If life is but a test, where's the damn answer key?!?!?

Hm a "Vanilla" TTW sounds like a good idea. Saves alot of time and should still be fun. Maybe I do a run before "PANZER" is finished.
