Hello loving TTW however Is there any way of disabling the NV experience gain sound? I've tried enabling fallout 3 sounds, installing a fallout new vegas silent xp gain sound mod and even replacing the audio file (ui_popup_experienceup.wav) with a silent one from the 'Fallout - Sound.bsa', 'TaleOfTwoWastelands - SFX.bsa' and 'Fallout3 - Sound.bsa'. Am I missing something? I'm playing a stealth play through and struggling to feel immersed when there's an annoying rumbling sound every time I kill something :P. Thanks.

Replacing the sound with the Fallout 3 one definitely works, make sure you put the sound in the correct path.

Thanks for the reply, I
Thanks for the reply, I replaced the sound in \sound\fx\ui\popup and somehow the original sound is being played even though it's been removed from the data folder. I've just noticed that after replacing the file I actually get 2 sounds being played each time I gain XP; the F3 sound and the rumbly NV one? I'm assuming there must be another source for the sound that I'm not replacing and the game is using both at once.

That's not possible, the UISound has one record and only the audio in that path will play. I've replaced it myself many times with the cash register sound.
