So yesterday I finally got time to instale Tale of Two Wastelands in my laptop. I had downloaded both games from steam the night before, without realizing that at the moment my steam was set to Spanish (it somehow changed itself recently). I started running the installer, and as I did I got an error saying that the voice couldn't be patched, I googled it and it seemed to be normal and expected so I kept going. Eventually it said that my fallout 3 was not an official copy and couldn't be patched, again I found out that it was probably due to having the game set in another language. So I went back and uninstalled both games, and did a clean download this time in English. As I ran the installer again the message prompted saying that meshes, sound, voices, (etcetera) already existed, so I clicked that I didn't want to redo them. Finally the fallout 3 (and dlcs) compiled. After this I tried doing a nmm install, but as it was giving me problems I switched to a manual install.
Once I started the game I was extremely surprised to hear the voices of the father in Spanish, actually everyone is speaking in Spanish. I guess this is because I extracted the files from the Spanish game, and not the English. But I am unaware if this bug/feature is already known.
As such I would like to ask two questions. Should I make a clean install of both games, again and of TTW to ensure everything is in English? Would it be interesting to the community that I keep going with the audio in Spanish and see if this can be at a later point be used to support other languages in TTW?
