Hello everyone. This is my first post in this forum, and I hope I chose the good place to do so!


First of all, woaw, TWW is really something I was dreaming about but never imagined could come true. I'm really impressed with the team work (and excited!).


I was wondering if someone could gimme some information about the perks from the 2 games. I know that perks have been merged. But some of them are redundant, some doesn't fit the NV engine that much, and some are even useless.


I've been trying to find a post on the topic but couldn't find too much. Could anyone detail the change? What was merged, deleted? Does the FO3 perks still use the same Hex code? Is there a comprehensive list somewhere? Does someone have a comprehensive list to share, maybe?


And BTW, sometime I might write something in a really weird way. That is because I'm the frenchiest dude to ever walk on earth (you know, a cheese eating weirdo). So don't be surprise. Feel free to correct me though it cannot hurt.

IIRC no Perk was removed except if it was a perk that were in both games already so the FO3 version of it was removed while keeping the FNV version of that perk.


For example: the Grim Reaper's Sprint Perk exist both in FO3 and FNV, so the one that gives all of the AP back after a VATS kill [Fallout 3 Version] was removed while keeping the one that restores 20 AP after a kill in VATS [Fallout New Vegas].


Also some Perks that affect some things that exist only on one game were edited in order to add appropriate things from the other game.


For example: The In Shining Armor Perk only exists in FNV [with the dead money DLC] but it was edited to work with some metal armor from FO3 too [IIRC The Mechanist armor, Samurai Armor, Outcast Power Armor, etc] and also against FO3 energy weapons [Alien Weaponry, etc].


So no other Perks were removed, you can choose any perk from either game with the exceptions on the duplicate perks like I mentioned first laugh.


About the Hex, it is the same yes, but if the perk doesn't exist in Fallout New Vegas or any of it's DLC's, you need to remember to change the first two values for the values your Fallout 3 or it's DLC's are in your load order [any Mod Manager shows that two values].

Yes it does help already. What happens to perks that are different but have similar effect (such as the two perks related to the well rested bonus - being french i don't have the english name in mind) or perks that are useless (like this one boosting large firearms, since large firearms doesn't exist anymore). Are they modified or just deleted?


Anyway, you guys did a very good job, can't wait to try it out!!!
