Using TTW without starting a new game

Post by muaddib042 » Fri Jun 20, 2014 3:10 am

I was playing and modding Skyrim for a while, but decided I needed to get back to the wastes. I've played a good bit of FNV with a bunch of mods that I really like and got excited when I read about TTW. However, I can't seem to find any info about whether or not I can add TTW without starting a new character. I would like to hop into DC from where I'm at now, but I'm not so interested in leaving behind the story of my current character. Also, if I decide to use TTW and it doesn't work or I don't like it, how easy is it to remove it and will it screw up my old mods? I'd hate to have it not work and then find out that I will need to start fresh with FNV anyways.

One of our primary principles

One of our primary principles with TTW was to be as non-intrusive as possible. So long as you are in the Mojave when you deactivate TTW, your character should be fine. Will lose all TTW weapons, perks, etc. It might mess with companion stuff, so make sure all companions are fired before you deactivate it.

Basically, yes, you can deactivate TTW with little to no problems

You CAN use an existing save, but there might be unexpected problems. If you run into any issues, please remind us that you used an existing save so that we can better troubleshoot.

Have fun!
