Mods

Hello

New user of TTW here (just finished installing after a painful wait :P ). I want to clear something related to mods: I understand that FO3 mods needs to be adapted for TTW, but FNV mods would (mostly)work just fine. On the other hand, I see that FNV mods also have patches for TTW. So what is it, can I install the FNV mods and just proceed to play, or do I need the patched versions to have them work for both games? My apologies if questions is/sounds dumb, I'm just a random confused person.

Most FNV mods work fine. Some FNV Mods that add content or change game dynamics need patches to affect the CW or items in the CW.

An example of this is Project Nevada. It works 100% fine without a patch, but for visor overlays and removing duplicated items and such in the CW you need the patch.

My project Dash is on Kickstarter!

some of them are fo3 mods

some of them are fo3 mods that got ported to nv, and those patches are combining the two mods into one cohesive unit.

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

Thank you both! This is going to be a difficult journey, as I use a lot of mods for both games. But I shall emerge victorious!
