My old XP rig could barely run FNV on minimal everything if I had a few mods in there. Combat with more than 4 onscreen [inc. me] was a strobe-light of still pictures.
New rig...[OK, 6 months]...I am SOOOoooo looking forward to playing my Fallouts together.
Modded to the glorious magnitude that should have been, that magnificence of true nuclear reality that resides in my FEV'd mind.
Decided to stick with FOMM, got TTW and some TTW options/fixes installed, figured out overwrites/replacement for some old fav FO3 mods people already converted,and that the majority of FNV mods are good to go.
LUV YAZ!!! Now for FO3 work.
I've been playing 20 questions in the forums for a couple of days. The forum headings are a great help to this semi-newb [very light modding, no skills], but I would like to make sure I'm posting in the right places.
Most of my forthcoming questions/posts will be about using TTW mods/conversions and/or requirements/assets. Probably a lot about mod integration and FO3-FNV crossovers.
Gettin' it Right per se.
I've been posting most in the Tutorial/Help forum, but methinks that's incorrect.
To me, it looks more like a ...uh...er...'library'...yeah, a library where you read books. You know, to know, to know that what be known.
So if I've been posting in the wrong spot, SORRY, don't want to p*** anybody off, don't want to break any rules here [although I WILL bend them 'til they crack]
I'm pretty sure I won't be "Experiencing Technical Difficulties, Please Stand By" due to my system hardware, but it is a Windows OS. 'Nuff sed. [Oh yeah, Win 7 Pro 64bit OEM].
Asus Z87-WS MoBo, i7-4770k @ 3.5 Ghz [Quad], 32 GB RAM [DDR3, Dual channel], 256 GB SSD, 2 TB HDD,
nVidea 770 w/2 GB, 5.1 Sound, bells and whistles. Not OC'd.
On a personal note, my biggest problem is that I find computer programs of any kind much, much harder to learn compared to anything I've tried learning before on my own [by that I mean I learn much better in a 'classroom' setting] so right now I pretty much just stumble through them.
The other reason I'm doing this? Gotta learn, gotta learn a lot, gotta learn a lot about a lot, lotsa stuff.
