When there's a weapon from both games, which one is used in TTW? For example, both Fo3 and FNV have 9mm Pistol but with different stats. Is it Fo3 9mm Pistols in Capital Wasteland and FNV 9mm Pistols in Mojave or is it always FNV weapons?

Fallout 3 doesn't have the 9mm pistol... TTW added it. And FNV stats are used, with guns only in FO3 rebalanced in the style of FNV.

You are right. I'm sorry. I mixed it up with the 10mm counterpart. Thanks for the info.
I've also found a .22 Revolver. What's that? Is it a FNV-style replacement for .32 Pistol or something like that?
Is there any more detailed info on how the Fo3-only weapons have been rebalanced for TTW?

Exactly right. Yeah, I think there's a forum lying around somewhere about the exact details, but to some it up: In F:NV guns are worth a lot more and do a lot more damage, so to rebalance, stats were upped to similar amounts as guns in that category in both damage and price, unless of course it's a gun they both have, in which case the F:NV weapon is used instead.

The .32 pistol got a rechamber because with the hunting rifle's move to .308 in New Vegas, it was the only .32 weapon left in the game. The round served no purpose as it was only used in a single low-tier gun, one it was possible to skip almost entirely (just stick with the 9mm you're started with until you find something better).

The .32 pistol thing is an old issue that repeatedly gets dragged up and forces Jax to wheel out his entire reasoning for the change, and that's when people are open to reason. It got old the second time someone asked.

Yeah, I can see how it can be a touchy issue. Sorry for mentioning it again... I searched and couldn't find anything about it.
